At Rhianna Ridge Boer Goats our philosophy is to keep things as natural as possible. We are situated in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, 50km S/E of Melbourne, a stable rainfall region producing a good base of pasture for most of the year. Since we do not use any pesticides or artificial fertilisers, our boer goats get the full benefit of the nutrients of naturally grown pasture. The organic-matter composts we put down can only enhance this effect. A small additional feed of healthy grains and minerals keeps our goats tame and gives them more reason to be happy.
